Friday Favorites

Wow, what happened to March? And it’s almost May?? What have I been doing with my life?

A lot. Like maybe a little too much. March was definitely a busy month for me. And April has been the same.

I flew home for 9 days. Worked a lot. The in-laws were in town. I organized and spoke at a ladies event at our church. Oh, and finalized everything for starting facials at my spa. Whew. I know I am forgetting a lot, but it’s been a blur.

I haven’t forgotten about this blog, but as I’ve said before, God inspires everything I write. So, if He isn’t speaking, then chances are, I’m not either. šŸ˜‰ I think it’s a good approach that keeps me sane. And takes the pressure off.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I am thankful for in my life. I’ve decided to start a journal and write down every day what I am thankful for! I’m not much of a journal-er, but I think I can handle this. šŸ˜‰

This week the Lord put it on my heart to share some of my favorite things weekly with you all. Maybe this will also help me to be on here more. Hmmmmmm.

One of my favorite things I have been loving this week are these headbands from a local business in Georgia called Peanut and Pear. Everyone knows I love a good top knot. šŸ˜‰ When I am working, I like to have my hair up so it doesn’t get in my client’s face or in my way. These headbands are AMAZING! Why?

  1. They are cute.
  2. They are so comfortable. I can’t even tell I’m wearing them.
  3. THEY DON’T MOVE. I stopped wearing headbands for awhile because they always fell off. These do not!
  4. The owner, Christina, is so sweet and passionate about her business. It’s so inspiring!

I get so many compliments when I wear these headbands. I’m pretty lazy when it comes to my hair. I’ll spend 20 plus minutes on my makeup, but spending that much time on my hair annoys me. Lol! So these headbands really make me feel pulled together. I actually wore the blue and orange one like 3 or 4 days in a row….

Peanut and Pear just launched their spring collection and it is selling out quickly! I have the Flower Gem Stretchy Twist Turban and the Knotted Turban in an older print.
